I've spent the last 20+ years traveling for both work and pleasure to visit 189 countries. As the world paused for COVID, I knew it was the perfect time to share my experiences in order to promote women's travel, especially solo and adventure travel. The intent is to inspire, educate and show that you can do it too!
A traveler on the road of life. Travel with me and let’s journey together.
But the UN 193 list is just the beginning. It took me 20 + years to visit (almost) every country in the world. So the next 20 will be focused purely on unique experiences and adventures rather than ticking off any more lists.
What I have learned from all of my travels is that travel changes you. From the chaos and energy of a bustling African village to the beauty of nature, the soul cannot help but he altered by travel. Each time I settle into my seat onboard an aircraft the feeling of excitement envelops me. Every new destination feels like a new beginning and that's because it is. There's no guarantee you’ll go back to the life you once knew. And if you do, you know you’ll never be the same again.
Welcome to my adventures.
I'm ready to go on my next adventure!
One of the many reasons I travel is for the food!
Food is an integral part of a country's culture, heritage and identity. A country's cuisine is a reflection of the resources available, local traditions and migration patterns. And what better way to get to know the locals than to break bread with them.
While we can’t travel due to COVID, I am making recipes from every country I've visited. It's a great way to experience the world when you cannot travel- through its food. I hope you'll enjoy!
